Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that occurs in every state, including Idaho. Community Outreach Behavioral Services (COBS) shares resources and works closely with service providers, law enforcement, and volunteers to rescue and serve victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Services we provide to stop human trafficking:
• Trauma-informed care to victims of human trafficking.
• Community training on human trafficking awareness and resources.
• Linking victims of human trafficking to mental health providers, and to resources for assistance
• Donate to and work with other community organizations combating human trafficking.
• Donate resources and funds to victims of human trafficking, helping them to stabilize their lives on the road to recovery.
• Meet with legislative representatives and community members raising awareness and offering education to address the problems.

What can you do?

• Learn about the signs of human trafficking to help identify potential trafficking victims.
• Get training on human trafficking awareness.
• If you believe someone may be a victim of human trafficking report it to law enforcement.
• Volunteer and support anti-trafficking efforts in your community.
• Write to, and meet with, your legislative representatives to let them know you care about combating human trafficking. Ask what they are doing to address the problems!
